The Tooth Fairy

Do I get money from the tooth fairy if I only give her a piece of my tooth???

Today, I am sad. Sad because part of my tooth has broken off. Yes, Its true. I was very fond of that piece and I will miss it dearly.. it already feels like there is a huge hole in my.. um.. mouth.. that cannot be fixed. sigh.

What I'm more upset about is the fact that there IS a HUGE hole in my mouth that really needs to be fixed and that means going to the dentist (which funnily enough I'm ok about) and recieving a massive bill at the end! I really dont have the money for that, and if I did I would rather spend it on something more practical like clothes or a small holiday somewhere!

Sometimes I think I'm in the wrong profession.. Dentistry is the way to go.

I used to work at a health care centre and if the bill was less than R1000 it was a discount.. and thats no joke! When a patient came out to pay I would smile brightly at them and say, "Oh, Mr Johnson! Its ONLY R595 today!" Like the Dr had done them some favour.. Other times if the amount was so high I would just slide their invoice accross the counter for them to look at, not attempting to meet them eye to eye incase of they exploded or worse...

Anyway.. I have booked the dreaded appointment for tomorrow and will let you know how it goes.. If you dont hear from me it means I'm probably broke and had to sell the computer to pay my bill.
